The Embodied Well Membership

A somatic sanctuary for midlife women
who are ready to feel at home in their bodies again.

A different way of moving through midlife

Many women arrive here exhausted from holding everything together for everyone else.

You've spent years overriding your body’s signals, and carrying more than your nervous system was ever meant to hold alone.

You want to trust yourself again: your body, your intuition, your timing. But you need a space that doesn’t ask you to become someone else first.

The Embodied Well is that space.

This is where embodiment becomes more than an idea. It’s where you learn to cultivate trust in yourself through somatic movement, stillness, and a sisterhood of women walking the Path beside you.

We see midlife as a recalibration and an invitation to reconnect to your body, your wisdom, and the parts of yourself that may have gone quiet beneath years of holding it all together.

And, you’re not meant to do it alone.

This Is For Women Who…

  • Are exhausted from being everyone else's emotional anchor — and ready to be their own

  • Are navigating the subtle identity shift that comes when the kids need you differently

  • Want a practice that fits the actual rhythm of their life — not another thing to push through

  • Long to feel more present, alive, and fully themselves again

  • Are tired of trying to figure it out alone

  • Crave meaningful connections with women who genuinely understand this season

What becomes possible
inside the membership.

A way back to yourself—with other women who get it.

This isn’t about doing more. It’s about finding your rhythm again, especially in times when so much is changing. Some women come here when things are unraveling. Others arrive when something new is about to emerge. Wherever you are in the passage — there's a place for you here.

A SOMA Journey

Receive a personalized Embodied Path designed to meet you where you are.

Each season of SOMA offers somatic guidance and simple practices to help you rebuild trust with your body, deepen your intuition, and honor what feels alive within you.

  • Your curated 12-month SOMA Journey offers flexible structure to support you in cultivating and deepen your practice, without pressure to move at a particular pace.

    Each 3-month season includes:

    • Embodied teachings rooted in that phase of the SOMA cycle
    • Curated somatic practices to support your body and nervous system
    • Simple throughline practices to help you stay connected to yourself in daily life

You can follow the seasonal arc, move intuitively through the library, or engage only with what resonates in the moment.

Practice Library

This evolving library is here as a resource, not a requirement.

Whether you have ten minutes or a full hour, you can easily search for practices that you need — from Feldenkrais-inspired movement and meditation to breathwork, subliminals, and more.

  • Inside the Practice Library, you’ll find an evolving collection of somatic movement, meditation, breathwork, subliminals, and embodied practices that can be explored in different ways depending on what you need in the moment.

You can browse practices through the phases of SOMA, search by length of time, explore specific themes, or use the search bar to find support for particular challenge or curiosity.

This is not about keeping up with content. It’s about having meaningful support available when you need it most.

    About The Community

Inside The Embodied Well, community unfolds through Circles and Inner Circles, creating space for both intimate connection and self-led exploration.

Each woman is welcomed into an Inner Circle connected to her Embodied Path. These smaller circles offer a more personal space to connect with women navigating the same path.

Over time, they can become places of deep witnessing, reflection, encouragement, and genuine connection.

Alongside your Inner Circle, you’re invited to move in and out of themed Circles based on what feels most relevant or alive for you.

There is no expectation to participate in everything or be present all the time. You’re invited to engage in the ways that feel right for you.

Monthly and annual memberships can be canceled at any time. And, you’re welcome to upgrade whenever it feels right for you.

Source · Open · Move · Attune

  • A time to settle, connect, and trust your inner resourcefulness.

Source is about cultivating a sense of safety, trusting the support that is always there for you, and cultivating inner-resourcefulness.

Here, you’re invited to listen for your body’s natural yes, no, and not-yet. It’s also where you’ll quiet the biological noise so that you can experience more of yourself and life.

  • A time to soften and widen your range.

Open invites you to open up to what is, loosen habits that no longer serve you, and allow yourself to lean into what lights you up.

This isn’t about breaking down defenses. It’s about discovering that softening can create more room, more choice, and more ease.

You may find yourself feeling more available to sensation, emotion, and desire without needing to act on any of it.

  • A time to shift gently.

Move is about letting change happen through small, workable steps rather than big decisions or pushes.

Here, attention turns toward how you initiate movement in your life — how you act, pause, adjust, and respond — guided by what feels sustainable rather than what feels urgent.

Nothing needs to be fixed or accelerated. Movement happens at the pace your body can support.

  • A time to integrate the somatic shifts and new insights, and trust the wisdom of the whole.

Attune is about paying attention to what’s integrating naturally and what’s quietly falling away.

Rather than effort or improvement, this phase emphasizes refinement: staying with what’s working, releasing what feels out of sync, and allowing space for what comes next.

Integration becomes less something you do, and more something you notice.

Meet Your Mentors & Guides

  • I've spent more than two decades working at the intersection of embodiment, movement, and lived inquiry, supporting women through seasons of change that can't be navigated by thinking alone.

All of my work is rooted in Feldenkrais-inspired somatic movement, breathwork, and long-standing contemplative practice. It is shaped by years of listening closely to how women's bodies reorganize during the menopause journey.

The Embodied Well is the structured-yet-spacious home for that work — a personalized Embodied Path, a year-long Journey through SOMA, and the company of like-hearted women walking it beside you.

My role is less about teaching and more about creating the conditions for women to return to themselves with love, discernment, and respect for their own timing.

    Buffy Owens

  • For many years, I lived with a quiet undercurrent of anxiety—always thinking ahead, trying to do everything “right,” and pushing myself to keep up, even when my body was asking for something different. I looked capable on the outside, but inside I often felt disconnected from myself and from the moments that mattered most.

Over time, I began to understand how deeply stress and nervous-system overwhelm were shaping my health, my energy, and my ability to be present. As my body and capacity for stress shifted in midlife, I learned that forcing my way through wasn’t the answer. Learning to listen—to my body, my needs, and my inner wisdom—changed everything.

This is why I do this work. I know how lonely this season can feel, and how healing it is to be truly supported. I’m here to walk beside women as they gently reconnect with themselves and create a way of living that feels calmer, more grounded, and more true.

  • My work is about reclamation of pleasure, of power, of the body as a place to live in fully, not just a thing to manage.

As a queer certified Sex, Love & Relationship Coach (VITA™ Method), I support people of all genders and sexualities to come back to their erotic embodiment. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in somatic awareness, blending modern psychology with ancient wisdom to ignite healing, confidence, and aliveness.

Inside The Embodied Well, I lead Somatic Self Love and Eros Alchemy: two practices for two different needs the body brings.

Somatic Self Love is soft, nourishing, and restorative that— draws from Taoist practices and feminine qigong to help you rebuild your energy reserves and store more of yourself for yourself.

Eros Alchemy moves in the opposite direction — breath, intuitive movement, and emotional alchemy to shift stuck states and let what's been held move through. One fills you back up. The other helps you let go.

Have a question without an answer. I’m here to help—just ask!

Common questions I get….

  • While many women join during perimenopause or menopause, the deeper themes inside the membership often resonate more broadly.

This space is for women who are ready to stop overriding themselves and begin living with greater embodiment, presence, self-trust, and connection to what matters most.

Women often arrive during seasons of transition, identity shifts, burnout, emotional exhaustion, or the growing realization that the way they’ve been living no longer feels sustainable.

  • Many somatic movement memberships focus primarily on instruction and ongoing guidance around physical practice.

The Embodied Well is designed differently. You're welcomed into a personalized Embodied Path that travels the SOMA cycle across the year, accompanied by an inner circle of women walking the same Path. The structure is real and so is the freedom to engage at your own pace.

There's no expectation to progress or perform. The Path holds the shape; you bring your body and your rhythm.

  • Absolutely. Somatic work is about listening to your body, and your body is the expert on you. All practices are designed to meet you where you are.

  • Many women inside The Embodied Well arrive after years of therapy, coaching, courses, retreats, and self-development work.

What often feels different here is the shift from intellectual understanding into lived embodied practice. It’s a space to integrate what you know.

This space is not focused on endlessly fixing yourself or collecting more information. It’s about creating repeated experiences of connection, awareness, self-trust, and embodied return that slowly change the way you move through daily life.

  • The Embodied Well was intentionally designed for women who are tired of all-or-nothing approaches to growth and healing.

This is not a space where you fall behind, fail, or need to keep up. The work is cyclical by nature, which means you are always welcome to return wherever you are.

Some seasons you may engage deeply. Other seasons you may move more slowly. Both are part of embodied living.

What matters is not perfection. It’s building a relationship with yourself you can keep returning to over time.

  • Many women arrive here carrying shame around inconsistency, unfinished programs, or the feeling that they “can’t stick with things.”

But often, the deeper issue is not lack of discipline. It’s nervous-system exhaustion from years of pressure, performance, and overriding themselves.

The Embodied Well is intentionally designed to feel spacious, cyclical, and supportive rather than overwhelming. You are not expected to engage perfectly. You are invited to return when you’re ready.

Again and again, women discover that when the nervous system feels safer, consistency begins happening more naturally.

  • Yes. You can upgrade at any time.

Some women choose Lifetime Access from day one. Others wait until it feels like the right time.

If you upgrade within your first month, your first month's payment will be credited toward your Lifetime Access. Just reach out to us when you're ready, and we'll take care of the rest.

  • The resources and community within the Embodied Well Membership are powerful. However, they’re not a substitute for one-on-one work.

When you want focused individual support around something specific, you can book a 1:1 session with one of the mentors. These sessions are only available to members and are designed to support your exploration within the membership.

  • No special equipment is needed.

Nearly all practices can be done with just your body and a bit of floor space. If you'd like, you can use simple household items for support—such as a pillow, blanket, chair, or yoga mat—but nothing is required.

Each practice includes clear instructions so you can follow along at your own pace.

  • Live attendance is optional.

Many members come live for the connection; others watch recordings on their own time. Both are welcomed.

Most live classes are edited and added to the library so you can return to them whenever you need.

Plus, we’ve got a Somatic Playground option in the community where you can experiment with others and/or join ‘team replay”.

  • We offer a limited number of scholarships and work study opportunities. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Please find our more and apply by clicking here.

  • Try one month at $88. If it isn't the right fit, cancel before renewal and nothing else is charged.

Refunds are not offered for The Embodied Well.

However, you can upgrade to an annual membership at a prorated rate. So, you're welcome to explore the space at your own pace and decide whether it feels like a good match. If it doesn't, you're free to cancel at any time and won't be charged again.

Join only if the structure and tone of this space feel like the right fit.

Learning is turning darkness, which is absence of light, into light. Learning is creation. It is making something out of nothing. Learning grows until it dawns on you.
